At the core of every Apex™ bed is an all-aluminum frame that protects every edge, eliminating the weak points dogs typically target when chewing. Unlike traditional beds, there are no exposed seams or soft corners to grab onto.

The sleeping surface is made from 1260D ballistic nylon, designed to withstand heavy scratching, digging, and repeated wear. Beneath that, a 2-inch cushioned interior layer provides comfort and support, so durability doesn’t come at the expense of rest.

A water-resistant underside helps protect against spills, making these beds practical for everyday use indoors or inside wire crates.

Each bed includes removable legs for elevation, and can also be used flat if preferred.

How Tough Your Dog Is on Beds

Durability is what determines how long a bed will actually last.

For dogs that scratch, dig, or put consistent wear on their bed without aggressively chewing through it, the Alorex Core™ Collection is built to handle daily use. Constructed with 1260D ballistic nylon, these beds are designed to resist scratching and digging while maintaining comfort. They are highly durable, but not intended for persistent chewers.

For dogs that actively bite, pull, or destroy beds, a different level of protection is required. The Alorex Apex™ Reinforced Dog Bed is engineered for this exact purpose. An all-aluminum frame shields every edge, removing the weak points dogs typically target. The elevated structure limits access to seams, while the padded ballistic nylon surface delivers durability without sacrificing comfort. This is the only bed in the lineup that is fully chewproof, in addition to being resistant to scratching and digging.

Sizing Basics

Some beds, especially those with bolster edges or raised sides, have a smaller usable sleeping area than the full listed dimensions. The measurements shown reflect the overall footprint, including any structure or walls.

Always size based on the sleeping surface, not just the outer dimensions.

If you’re between sizes, sizing up is always a safe choice.

Alorex Apex™ Reinforced Dog Bed

Dimensions are measured from the outer edges of the aluminum frame.

The frame is fully rigid and will not compress.

Make sure your space or crate fits the full dimensions, and allow about ¼ to ½ inch of clearance on each side.

Includes the Orthopedic Bed and Everyday Mat.

We stand behind the durability of our beds with a 120-day warranty across both the Alorex Core™ and Alorex Apex™ collections.

If your dog manages to damage the bed within this period, we’ll provide a one-time replacement at no cost.

For products with removable covers, we’ll replace the cover. For all other designs, we’ll send a full replacement.

To start a claim, simply use our warranty portal.

If you prefer not to receive a replacement, we can issue store credit equal to your purchase, which can be applied toward any item on our site.

Cleaning depends on the collection you choose:

Alorex Core™ Collection

Designed for convenience and regular use. Most messes can be wiped away with a damp cloth and mild soap thanks to the water-resistant surface. For a deeper clean, the removable cover can be machine washed in cold water on a delicate cycle. Air drying is recommended, but low heat can be used if needed.

Alorex Apex™ Collection

Built for heavy-duty use and easy cleanup. These beds do not require machine washing. Simply hose them down or wipe them clean to remove dirt, debris, or messes. The materials are designed to handle quick, no-hassle cleaning without the need for disassembly.

We work to ship all orders as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days after being placed.

Yes. Once your order ships, tracking details are sent to your email.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is in new, unused condition.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Items that are not eligible for return include:

To qualify for a return, items must:

In some cases, we offer a UPS return label for a flat $30 fee per package, as long as the return meets specific requirements:

• The return is shipped from within the contiguous United States
  
• The package can be accepted by UPS
  

How the return label works

If you choose to use our provided label, the package must be dropped off at a UPS location. Pickup services are not available.

For orders placed directly through our website, the $30 fee will be deducted from your refund once the return has been received and approved. For orders placed through third-party platforms, the label fee must be paid before the label is issued.

If the return is sent using different packaging than the original box, any additional shipping charges or carrier adjustments may be deducted from the refund. If those costs exceed the value of the item, a refund will not be issued.

Returning items on your own

If your return does not meet the requirements for a provided label, you can ship it back using any carrier you prefer. These costs will not be reimbursed. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method to ensure the return is delivered successfully.
