Our signature ballistic nylon is the foundation of every Alorex dog bed. Originally developed for high-performance gear, ballistic nylon is known for its dense weave, impressive abrasion resistance, and exceptional strength under repeated use.

We use ballistic nylon across all of our beds because durability should begin at the material level. Our baseline starts at 1260D ballistic nylon—already stronger than what many brands use in their so-called heavy-duty beds. For customers seeking our highest-performance option, we also offer 1680D ballistic nylon, our strongest fabric, built for higher abrasion resistance, greater tensile strength, and more demanding daily use.

The result is a surface designed to better withstand scratching, digging, nesting, and the everyday habits that quickly break down ordinary beds.
