While still highly durable and built with ballistic nylon to handle daily wear, scratching, and digging, the focus is on comfort, support, and everyday use.
Alorex Apex™ beds, on the other hand, are built for extreme durability. With an all-aluminum frame protecting every edge and a fully reinforced structure, they’re engineered specifically for dogs that aggressively chew or destroy beds. This is our only fully chew-proof collection.
If your dog needs a softer, more supportive bed for rest and recovery, Core™ is the right choice. If your dog has a history of destroying beds, Apex™ is the safer, long-term solution.

What’s protected under your 120-day warranty?
As part of our 120-Day Chew-Proof Warranty, if your dog damages your Alorex Apex™ bed within the first 120 days of delivery, we’ll replace the entire armored bed once at no cost. If a replacement isn’t preferred or available, you’ll receive store credit equal to the value of your bed, which can be used toward any product on our site.
Will this bed hold up against destructive chewers?
Alorex Core™ beds are built to be highly durable, not chew-proof. They’re made with 1260D ballistic nylon and are designed to resist scratching, digging, and everyday wear, including light chewing here and there. However, they are not intended for aggressive or persistent chewers. If your dog actively bites, pulls, or destroys beds, the Alorex Apex™ Collection is the better choice, as it’s specifically engineered to be fully chew-proof.
